Paranormal Week 2011 almost upon us

Another meeting this afternoon to put together some finishing touches and fill a hole in our programme due to a presenter pulling out due to unforeseen circumstances.

We decided to have a bit of fun to create a promotional image. So here, for the first time this year, is the Paranormal Week Team (with the exception of myself, Michael Hadfield, who was directing the action and doing the photography): from Left to Right – Mike Jaega (Paranormal Investigator), Janette Fleming (Halton Libraries), Mark Rosney (Paranormal Investigator, co-author of A Beginner’s Guide to Paranormal Investigation, author of the blog Planet Preturnatural), Michelle McMahon (trainee paranormal investigator). As for me, I’m also a Paranormal Investigator and a Photographer too – which comes in very handy when we need to do stuff like this, or assess the images with strange blobs and spooky mists that people bring to us).

And if you detect a spooky presence lurking in the background of the image above – I swear it wasn’t there when I clicked the shutter – honest guv! I just asked them to pretend there was a monster behind them – never imagined for a minute one would appear in the picture.

Still, we’ve got much better stories than that in Paranormal Week, so come along and join in the fun in the run up to Hallowe’en. And if you plan on coming along introduce yourself on our Paranormal Week 2011 facebook page (link below), let us know you’re coming, and we’ll keep an eye out for you.

See you there.

…and don’t forget to check out, and like, or join, or whatever facebook has decided is appropriate this week, here.
