Paranormal Week Day 5

It is with some sadness that I have to report that Paranormal Week drew to a close tonight.

The first part of the evening’s entertainment was provided by Janette Fleming who provided us with a count down of the top 10 scariest books ever along with a précis of the story line. This put everyone in just the right frame of mind for what followed.

After a break for refreshments and a quick equipment test, our finale was provided by film-maker Kevin West who visited us at last year’s Paranormal week and shot some footage at that event.

He returned this evening to show us a preview of Parallax World where we were able to not only enjoy seeing last year’s events once more, but also to enjoy a full episode of the program where Mark Rosney (Para-Projects), Roy Basnett (Zone Unknown) and Lady Snake conducted an investigation into Allerton Hall and the old Gaumont cinema. Quite a fascinating program, especially the live recording of an anomalous voice. Certainly there was not a whisper from the audience during the showing of both of these programs.

Kevin also gave us a little insight into his thoughts about the program and what he was intending to communicate so effectively.

So many thanks to Kevin for making us all look so good and for providing us with an enjoyable evening’s entertainment.

…and that’s it for another year. We hope you enjoyed attending Paranormal week as much as we enjoyed making it.
